Wedding photography is usually booked a year or more ahead, so it helps to know exactly when money changes hands. Ours runs in three steps, and the agreement writes all three down before you pay anything.
A quote for your day
Once we know the date, the venue and the hours, we send the collections priced for that day, with travel and any extras already in the figure. The quote holds for thirty days.
A deposit holds the date
You sign the agreement and pay the deposit, and the date is yours. Until both are back, we keep the date open, because holding it for one couple means turning another away.
The rest, a month before
Pay the balance in one go or spread it out however suits you, as long as it's settled a month before the wedding. Albums and extra prints are paid when you order them, after the day.
If something changes, the date, the venue or the plan, tell us early. A moved date carries the deposit across when we're free, and a smaller day can move to a smaller collection. How we cover the day itself is under Weddings, the smaller days under Elopements and Engagements, and every frame we'd show you is on the light table.
